The Fire Standards Board are pleased to announce the consultation on the Fire Standard for Fire Investigation is now open.
The Board welcome responses from all stakeholders but are particularly keen to ensure all fire and rescue services provide a response on behalf of their service as those directly impacted by the Fire Standard. They also welcome individual responses and those from colleagues in the Devolved Administrations, from partners and all stakeholders including those in the wider fire and rescue sector.
The development of the draft Fire Standard has been coordinated by the National Fire Chiefs Council and in conjunction with the Fire Investigation Committee. This Fire Standard will accompany the other eight Fire Standards already published. The closing date for the consultation is Monday 6th December 2021.
